SyRF Workout and Gear- SyRFing
(To see a video sample of SyRFing click here)
The SyRF Workout and Gear component, “SyRFing” employs specially designed Power Packs (PPs)TM , the SyRF BarTM,
the SyRF BeltTM along with synergetic movements and General SyRFing Principles to produce a revolutionary way to gain
strength, endurance, flexibility, focus and specific skill development in any and all sports. This component includes:

1. SyRFing Gear: Power Packs, the SyRF Bar, the SyRF Belt

The Power Packs (PP)

The Power Packs are moulded into the correct anatomical shape of the major muscle groups and are constructed to fit snugly
and comfortably on the legs (Quad Packs), waist (SyRF Belt), and forearms (Brack Packs) to add resistance to specific
movements. Each of these “power packs” have a variety of different weight categories
that are interchangeable, compatible and exchangeable with others- very light for the beginner, the young, the old, the weak
and the athlete undergoing rehab and as you gain strength, or for example, if you wish to workout for building mass,
you would replace them with heavier weights. Different muscle groups would also naturally require either heavier or lighter
weights than other areas. Simple. This is how it can be effective for everyone. The correct ratios and proportions of the
weights for different muscle groups in relation to the stage of development and goals and objectives of the player
have been experientially and scientifically researched.
Power Packs come in weights ranging from 1 lb for the Brack Packs to 20 lbs for the Quad Packs.
3.1.1.2 SyRF Belt
SyRF Belt

The SyRF Belt is constructed in a similar fashion to the wide support belts used by weight lifters. It is tightened using a standard Velcro or buckle mechanism. It is unique in that it has specially designed leather holsters that are tapered to hold the ½ sections
of the SyRF Bar on either side. (See drawings
in Appendix 1). Extra pouches are attached to the belt to hold a MP3/CD/tape
player and a water bottle. The Belt also has weights, the Power Packs, attached symmetrically, in various increments depending on the
level of fitness and on “How hard do you want to work out?”
This belt can be used without the other Power Packs or in conjunction with them for a more intense workout.
The SyRF belt, as it fits around the core of the body, is the perfect place to carry weight. It is the intrinsic centre of gravity and balance of the body. It sits on the hips so there is no discomfort on the shoulders or lower back (that results from other weighted vests and shoulder harnesses) and for all of these reasons it can carry a heavy load. For the trained athlete 30-50% of body weight could be added to the belt. For the beginner or athlete undergoing rehab it might be 5-10% of body weight.
3.1.3 SyRF Bar
SyRF Bar Heavy SyRF Bar Medium SyRF Bar Light

The main piece of Syrf Gear in SyRF Systems is the SyRF Bar. Another example and utilization of the principle of “complex is simple”. The SyRF Bar is a 1.5 meter long solid, steel bar that is comfortably padded on the outside and threaded in the middle so that it can be detached and used in each hand or as one long bar. The SyRF Bar comes in a variety of different diameters and weights ranging from 0.5 kg to 50 kg. There are wooden and bamboo versions of the SyRF Bar that are even lighter (0.1 to 0.75 kg). This component of the gear employs the Principle of DSL, Dynamic Synergetic Leverage, to its fullest. See 2.2.0
